The girls at FC Mold Progress need a safe and private space to change into their football kits. Currently, they have to use improvised spaces for this purpose.
🏗️ Campaign goal: Building a modern modular locker room for the ladies' football team
We need to raise 450,000 MDL for a modern locker room for our girls
🏗️ Any amount helps us build the changing room 🏠
For an obvious need, with a clear solution.
Girls don't have their own space to change
They change in unsuitable places
A problem of safety and dignity
It's not just an inconvenience. It's a matter of safety, dignity and fairness for girls.
A safe, modern space dedicated exclusively to the women's team — with separate changing areas, personal lockers and all necessary facilities.
Secure access only for the team
Privacy for every athlete
Optimal conditions for preparation
Common space for unity
The man behind our team's success
I started playing football at the age of 8 and trained until 15, when an injury forced me to end my playing career.
I took my first steps in coaching in 2014, with the "Success" team. In 2016, I began working with the youngest children (3-5 years) at "Junior Chișinău". In 2018, I opened the first children's groups at "Mold Progress", and a year later obtained my UEFA C license. Also in 2019, the first girls began training with the team, and in 2021, I officially created the girls' team. In 2024, I completed my studies for the UEFA B license.
Today I am the director of FC Mold Progress children's club. I coach the WU14 girls' group, as well as the U13 and U9 boys' groups. I also work as a football teacher at "Dante Alighieri" Theoretical High School and at Durlești Gymnasium.
Alina Grușovschii and Olesea Boțu participated in the Bootcamp for Future Community Leaders, organized by Helvetas, where they strengthened their knowledge in community organizing and social entrepreneurship, becoming ambassadors of change in their community. During this program, the initiative to develop a fundraising campaign to support the Mold Progress club's girls' team was born.
She holds studies in economics, business and administration and works for a non-governmental organization. As Dumitru Grușovschii's wife, she has witnessed the difficult process and challenges the football club has faced over the past years.
One of the biggest difficulties remains the lack of a changing room – a problem that affects the safety, comfort and dignity of children and girls who play football. The desire to provide them with better and fairer conditions is a strong motivation to continue the fight and support the club's development.
She has higher education in economics and is a mother of two children – a girl and a boy. The family's contact with Mold Progress club began when the boy, at the age of 4-5 years, went to his first football training sessions. Since then, the family has gotten to know the club and the coaching team closely.
Olesea was impressed by the attention given to children, the way training is adapted by age to maintain their interest, and the sincere joy of the little ones when they meet their coaches – factors that motivated her to encourage her child to continue playing football.
Currently works as an assistant manager in a private company and is also a building administrator. On her initiative, an outdoor fitness area was installed in the building's courtyard. In addition to the existing football field, she managed to set up a volleyball court as well, thus contributing to the development of an active and friendly space for the community.
